Memorial Day Weekend
May 26, 2022
From all the That’s Nice staff across the globe, we thank the fallen soldiers, veterans, and current servicemen this Memorial Day weekend.
New York Past and Present
May 26, 2022
Sometimes, a walk in New York offers a striking juxtaposition of past and present. When you look up at the entrance of 160 Madison Avenue - built-in 2015 - the top of the Empire State Building (completed in 1931) peeks out from over the top. That's not the extent of the history, though; the Empire State Building site was actually first developed in 1893 as the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
Views From Teddington Bridge
May 25, 2022
Our roving cameras have captured some gorgeous scenery across the U.S. lately, but our That's Nice London office doesn't have to take a backseat when it comes to picturesque views. Exhibit A: This snapshot from the Teddington Lock Footbridge.

Lightning Strike
May 7, 2022
Rich Strike was officially entered in the 2022 Kentucky Derby with just five minutes to spare, but wound up winning big as an 80-1 longshot, scoring the second-biggest upset in Derby history. So, who's the bigger winner: our founder, Nigel, who was on hand at Churchill Downs to see it happen; or our videographer, Lucas, who pulled Rich Strike out of a hat in our office draw on Friday afternoon? You be the judge.
May The 4th Be With You
May 4, 2022
You mean an agency dedicated to science has a healthy contingent of Star Wars fans? As Yoda might say, "Surprising, this is not."
Intruder Alert
May 4, 2022
For a year and a half, our founder, Nigel, has had to contend with someone digging up his garden. This past weekend, he finally discovered the culprit.Raccoons are one of the most common spreaders of rabies in America, but thanks to vaccination efforts, Canine-specific rabies is no longer found in the U.S. The rabies vaccine, first introduced in 1885, is on the World Health Organization's list of essential medicines.

Madison Square Park vs. Madison Square Garden
April 29, 2022
If you're confused about why Madison Square Garden isn't anywhere near Madison Square Park...well, it used to be. The original Madison Square Garden was built in 1832 at 26th Street and Madison Avenue, although it didn't take that name until 1879. These days, you'll find the fourth incarnation of Madison Square GARDEN northwest of here, but Madison Square PARK is where you'll find delightful greenery.

Tennessee, the Volunteer State
April 18, 2022
If those three stars look familiar, there's a good chance you recognize them from the courtroom scene in Animal House, which means that you might be wondering why this patch Nigel found says "Tennessee," when Animal House takes place in Pennsylvania. Here's why: the film was shot on the campus of the University of Oregon, and while a suitably sized Pennsylvania flag couldn't be found, the Oregon flag was also ruled out because it includes the words "STATE OF OREGON." The set director chose the most generic flag he could find, which turned out to be Tennessee's. In case you're wondering, the three stars represent the three "Grand Divisions" of the state - East, Middle, and West Tennessee - and the blue circle represents the unity of those regions.
That's Nice, Kentucky Office?
April 13, 2022
That's Nice founder Nigel took a timeout from meeting clients in the American south to check out a location for a possible That's Nice satellite office. The structure is impressive, but if those chairs are any indication, some new office furniture *may* be in order...

City of Corbin, Star of Kentucky
April 9, 2022
Business travel has brought our founder, Nigel, through Corbin, Kentucky, the birthplace of Kentucky Fried Chicken. More than 75 years after Colonel Harland Sanders started his business, we know the brand best as KFC, but the image of Colonel Sanders on the chain's restaurants and packaging is as iconic as ever. Few global brands are able to achieve this milestone.
