Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building and nurturing strong relationships based on trust, transparency, and exceptional service
- Work with the Account director(s) to create a strategic marketing strategy and mapping out the tasks needed to implement that strategy
2. Project Management
- Lead the execution and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, creative projects, and other initiatives for clients, providing project status updates at predetermined time intervals to all stakeholders
- Attend all presentations, meetings, and discussions alongside or on behalf of the agency team, taking notes and acting as a reliable resource on the project who can then debrief the wider team on key takeaways and next steps
- Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, digital, and content, to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope, providing updates regularly to teams
- Create and consistently maintain project trackers, status documents, timelines/calendars and scheduling deadlines; modifying when necessary
- Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address issues and notify Account Director
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
3. Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded
- Mentor new project team members, providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities to ensure success
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of creative work to ensure it aligns with client expectations, brand guidelines, and agency standards
- Help to Improve team efficiency and effectiveness in line with company goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
- 6-7 years post-college experience at a marketing firm or agency
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager within a creative agency setting
- Strong understanding of marketing, branding, and digital strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships effectively
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strategic thinking and the ability to translate client needs into actionable strategies
- Leadership experience with the ability to guide and mentor a team
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- A client-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Attend client meeting, trade shows, and events as needed
