Digital Director

Location: NYC/Hybrid

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and innovative Digital Director to lead our digital marketing efforts and drive the growth of our online presence. The Digital Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital strategy, overseeing digital campaigns, and leading a team of digital professionals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving impactful results in the digital landscape.

Responsibilities

1. Digital Strategy Development:

    • Develop and articulate a forward-looking digital strategy that aligns with our business goals and encompasses various digital channels, including social media, web, email, and more.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and trends to enhance our digital presence.

 

2. Digital Campaign Management:

    • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, conversions, and brand awareness.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign alignment and consistency.

 

3. Team Leadership:

    • Manage and mentor a team of digital professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for professional development.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.

 

4. Digital Performance Analysis:

    • Monitor and analyze key digital metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
    • Use data insights to refine strategies, optimize campaigns, and demonstrate ROI to stakeholders.

 

5. Website and Content Management:

    • Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of our digital properties, including websites and landing pages.
    • Ensure that digital content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with brand messaging.

 

6. SEO and SEM Strategy:

    • Develop and execute SEO and SEM strategies to improve organic search rankings, increase website traffic, and drive qualified leads.
    • Stay updated on search engine algorithms and best practices.

7. Digital Partnerships:

    • Identify and establish partnerships with digital platforms, influencers, and publishers to amplify our brand reach and engage target audiences.

 

8. Budget Management:

    • Manage the digital marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize campaign impact and ROI.

 

9. Stakeholder Communication:

    • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to provide updates on digital initiatives, performance, and future plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 10 years post college experience at a design firm, studio, or marketing firm
  • Proven experience as a Digital Director or in a senior digital marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, tactics, and channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a digital team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in digital analytics tools and platforms.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives and teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on staying ahead of digital trends and emerging technologies.
