Responsibilities
1. Creative Vision and Leadership:

- Develop and communicate a clear creative vision that reflects the brand’s identity and resonates with target audiences.
- Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a collaborative and innovative creative culture.
2. Conceptualization and Ideation:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative concepts and design strategies that address marketing, branding, and communication goals.
- Transform abstract ideas into concrete visual solutions that convey messages effectively.
3. Visual Branding and Identity:
-
- Ensure consistent and cohesive visual branding across all touchpoints, including print, digital, social media, and more.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the brand’s visual identity, ensuring it remains relevant and engaging.
4. Design Execution:

- Create high-quality design materials, including graphics, layouts, illustrations, and digital assets.
- Oversee the production process to ensure design integrity, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications.
5. Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with marketing, copywriting, and other teams to integrate visual and written communication elements seamlessly.
- Clearly articulate design concepts and rationale to internal stakeholders and clients.
6. Trends and Innovation:

- Stay informed about design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to infuse fresh ideas into creative work.
- Integrate innovative design elements to enhance the visual impact of projects.
7. Quality Control:

- Review and approve design deliverables to ensure they meet high standards of quality, creativity, and consistency.
- Provide constructive feedback to team members to elevate their design skills and execution.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- 10 years post college experience at a design firm, studio, or marketing firm
- Proven experience as an Art Director or similar role with a robust portfolio showcasing diverse design work.
- High proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and familiarity with motion graphics software is advantageous.
- Exceptional design skills, including a strong grasp of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide a creative team to achieve outstanding results.
- Handling of large volumes of technical information, file management, research, layout and design, creative mood board design, and excellent typography skills.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage high-volume work to meet tight deadlines are critical.
- Strategic thinking and a keen understanding of how design supports broader brand and business goals.
