Goals & Objectives
Wacker Biotech – a subsidiary of the German chemical giant Wacker – was formed with the acquisition of Genopis’s San Diego pDNA manufacturing facility. Despite Wacker’s scale, its brand was not well known in North America, thus the parent company sought to establish awareness of the brand and its biotech capabilities in the US.
Strategic Approach
The parent company was not committed to developing a standalone brand for Wacker Biotech. As a result, That’s Nice recognized that campaigns were needed to highlight Wacker’s strength of knowledge in advanced modalities. We used these to highlight the company’s Centers of Excellence in the US and the Netherlands, while also effectively introducing Wacker as a player in pDNA for vaccine and gene therapy development.
Meeting & Exceeding KPIs
With successful exposure for the Wacker brand in the US underway, That’s Nice supported the company’s pDNA sales and laid the foundation for interest in its broader capabilities in gene therapy and other advanced modalities.
