Location: New York, NY
Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time PR Manager with 5 years of experience to provide public relations support to life science industry clients. Candidates should have experience in integrated marketing comprising print projects, trade show solutions, advertising, and PR. The position requires the handling of large volumes of technical information, file management, research, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to liaise with a team of account, creative, and sales teams.
That’s Nice serves clients in the life sciences industry – pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing, biologics, and new modalities. Experience in these sectors is advantageous. However, a background working in a similar highly-technical industry is also well-suited.
The ideal candidate is highly social and can work through and manage integrated projects. Candidates must be able to work independently, handling many projects simultaneously, and collaborate within a team environment.
The ideal candidate has 5 years post-college experience in public relations and is familiar with major North American, European, and Asian trade publications for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. This role reports directly to the PR Director. Candidates should be prepared to establish and maintain strong relationships with editorial contacts across media channels in order to facilitate earned media coverage for clients, leverage relationships for media placement and PR coverage, identify and brief opportunities for PR to serve clients, coordinate and follow up with press release sign-offs, and distribute PR materials to relevant sources.
That's Nice, LLC. is a New York City science marketing agency of 30+ people providing market research, strategic positioning and brand-focused marketing to meet the needs of clients in pharmaceutical development, healthcare and associated segments.
For immediate and confidential consideration, please email your resume and work samples. We regret that we are only able to respond to those selected for an interview.
