Its proposition to the market focuses on interpretation of trend, design capability, and high quality products. Following several years of notable growth in a declining market, it was acquired by its own management and The Riverside Company from The RPM Group in 2006.

When our relationship with Thibaut began in 1999, its marketing budget restricted the business to production of sample books and advertising, with no online presence. Our challenge was to help support long-term sales growth through marketing that wouldn’t impose any unrealistic financial commitments.

We took the approach of supporting brand development and marketing through a very close relationship that simulated an in-house resource, enabling Thibaut to increasingly utilize new marketing tactics with a manageable budget.

An updated brand identity, development of new sales tools, and particularly creation of a substantial online presence that continues to grow have helped Thibaut to realize parity with well-financed competitors, and achieve expanded distribution channels with year-on-year growth.

Through an ongoing focus over several years and three generations of design and technology, Thibaut has gradually gone from having no web presence at all to having a beautiful and functional site with more than 6,000 pages.

The current website is based on ASP technology, integrating a complex search facility with a database of 37 published product collections comprising 2,300 patterns. Two new collections are added each business quarter. As such, it has become a primary sales and marketing tool used by Thibaut’s customers.
