Founded in 1889, Schumacher creates fine fabrics, wallcoverings, trimmings and furnishings. Its products appear in distinguished interiors around the world, including the White House.
As a leader in the higher echelons of the home décor market, Schumacher has a reputation for superior quality and style among interior designers and customers who value design, service and luxury.
When we began our relationship with Schumacher in 2007, the company wanted specifically to enhance its online presence, bringing an understanding of the Schumacher brand and values to a wide audience.
“Thats Nice exceeded our expectations upon site launch, and we look forward to working with them in the future.”
Director of Marketing, F. Schumacher & Co.
Schumacher recognized the need to bolster marketing efforts through the creation of a more dynamic online presence to better serve customers and remain the top-of-mind-destination in the premium segment.
In early 2008, Thats Nice helped Schumacher to launch an entirely new website, featuring classic, clean design appropriate to the Schumacher brand. It included cutting-edge search functionality to make products and information easy to browse for customers and compelling in presentation.
We conceptualized, designed and programmed the site using ASP.NET coding supported by a database, which allows Schumacher to continually update its site with new collections. One thousand SKUs were initially uploaded for launch.
Advanced search functionality allows visitors to browse by specific categories, such as collections, patterns, pattern themes and color. Once visitors land on an individual product page, they can browse full product information, color options, close-up pattern detail and design inspiration.
